Sony Playstation Network Card can be used to download games, movies, and more from the Playstation Store. Each bought content’s remains available in the PSN user’s PlayStation Store “Download List” under the form of a license for a later re-download or copy into five different PlayStation 3.
Cards can be used in its local PlayStation Store country only. For example, a Japanese PSN Card cannot be used to buy contents in the United States PlayStation Store. In the past, a credit card was required for purchases from the Playstation Store. With the new Playstation Network Cards, users can shop the Playstation Store without needing a credit card. These cards can be used in the Playstation Store on both the PC and the online browser of the Playstation 3.

One other thing that bothers me though is the fact that the denominations of $20 and $50 can never be equally divided into the costs of the games so the house always wins.
