Head to PlayStation Store and select the Redeems Codes icon at the top of the page
Enter the 12-digit code printed on the card and the funds will be added to your wallet instantly

It’s great time to pick up a PSN card so buy one today and check out some of the great content available like Flower or The Last Guy (two of my favorites) or a PSone classic like Final Fantasy VII or Resident Evil: Director’s Cut. In other PSN catch-up news, PSN cards will be available in stores in September, in 20 and 50 euro denominations. Great news for people who like to be in stores when they buy things! This may not be a surprise, given that a retailer already revealed plans — but then, even if that hadn’t happened, you’ve all had several years to get used to the idea of PSN cards.

For those who don’t own a credit card (issued in the US) – and – I mean “and” as an essential condition – and you are desperate to download a few stuff, this is your way out – for now. Otherwise, just be patient, soon enough these cards will be on sale for the regular and fair price of $20 for the $20 card and $50 for the $50 ones.

What is Sony Playstation Network Card?

Sony Playstation Network Card can be used to download games, movies, and more from the Playstation Store. Each bought content’s remains available in the PSN user’s PlayStation Store “Download List” under the form of a license for a later re-download or copy into five different PlayStation 3.

Cards can be used in its local PlayStation Store country only. For example, a Japanese PSN Card cannot be used to buy contents in the United States PlayStation Store. In the past, a credit card was required for purchases from the Playstation Store. With the new Playstation Network Cards, users can shop the Playstation Store without needing a credit card. These cards can be used in the Playstation Store on both the PC and the online browser of the Playstation 3.

Many downloads on the PlayStation Store are free, but for premium content such as full version PlayStation 3, PlayStation Portable, PlayStation classic games and some types of downloadable content to further the experience of a full-fledged title, PlayStation Network Cards must be purchased and redeemed to download a particular piece of content.

PlayStation Network Card/Ticket service was introduced in Japan as an alternative to Japan-only’s Edy e-money system and to the credit card solution. Japanese PSN Tickets are available through electronic kiosks at 26,000 convenience stores.
